This western comedy set in the 1860’s was one of my favorite roles to date. I played Edna May—the headstrong, fearless older sister that easily holds her own (and everyone else’s) in the Wild West.

This was my first and last gig as a “Background Actor.” I was in a post-apocalyptic series called “Extinct” and had the pleasure of working with good people and learning what went on in the background!

This modern, female spin-off of the classic “Robin Hood,” was a six-episode web series! I played Robyn’s pessimistic-but-oh-so-loyal best friend, Joan.

This was my first lead role in a feature film. I played Amber in this modern fantasy about a human girl that falls for the last remaining Elf on Earth. Think Twilight… with Elves instead of Vampires…and the FBI instead of the Volturi.

Playing Mary Poppins was a turning point in my career. I realized that no matter how “iconic” a character is, I—as an artist—will ALWAYS make it my own. Someone grounded, relatable, understandable. This version of Mary was still the pristine English lady that demanded perfection, but the audience knew where she came from. They could sense that she had truly seen the world in all its glory and turmoil, and accepted that there was work to be done. One child at a time.

In this adaptation of Taming of the Shrew, the show took place in the 1960’s. Most of it was set in Baptista’s bar, complete with a live jazz band and cocktails for the patrons. I played Bianca: the sought-after daddy’s girl who knows more about her own beauty than she should... It was delightful taking a role that is usually played as a boring ingenue, and turning her into a relatable younger sister who fights for what she wants.

A couple West Side Story dance scenes. I played Graziella—the girlfriend of Riff (a gang leader). This is the “Cool” scene, taking place just after Riff has been killed in a street fight.
